Um - well - not exactly a prolific blogger am I - but I'm inspired NOW, having seen the blogs of at least two new friends from SOAR Montreal:
Vanessa Siemens and
Dan King.
So what HAVE I been up to - well, Passagers tours after Turkey were concentrated into two periods - October to December 2005 and March to June 2006. The CD was finally released towards the end of 2005 and is now available on iTunes as well as from our site. You can see details of all that at
the band web site. We're on a break till late August now.
I mentioned having to work in the States after the Turkey tour - well that was exactly what happened - with about 7 weeks in the states and 6 in England between June 2005 and March 2006 - the project continues with lots of business merit but not budgetary support - so its pretty well doomed at the moment, IMHO.
And then there was
SOAR Montreal 2006!! Well, that deserves an entry, or series of entries, to itself!
Oh, yeah - and I became a GRANDFATHER!!! At the age of 45!!! NOT FAIR (though I'm getting to quite like being told I'm too YOUNG for something for once!!). Tegan, her name is - she lives in Brighton, England with Dad (my son Oliver) and mum (Oliver's girlfriend Karen). Pictures later.
